Every United Cars Rent vehicle includes comprehensive basic insurance coverage to ensure your peace of mind while exploring Georgia. Standard coverage includes mandatory third-party liability insurance (covering bodily injury and property damage to others), basic theft protection, and fire damage coverage. This essential coverage meets all Georgian legal requirements and provides fundamental protection for most driving situations. However, this basic coverage includes deductibles and may not cover all scenarios. We strongly recommend reviewing your personal travel insurance and considering our enhanced protection options for complete coverage. What are the minimum age and experience requirements?
To rent with United Cars Rent, drivers must be at least 21 years old and hold a valid driver's license for a minimum of 1 year. For luxury vehicles, sports cars, and larger SUVs, the minimum age may be 23-25 years with 2+ years of driving experience. Young driver surcharges may apply for renters aged 21-24. Additional drivers must meet the same age and experience requirements and be present during vehicle pickup to provide documentation. These requirements ensure safety and comply with insurance regulations. International visitors should verify that their license meets Georgian recognition standards.
